Schedule

2021-2022 Competition Season

Defend the Den

12/12 (Cedar Hill, MO)

This tournament takes place on second day of the road trip to the midwest.  The drive should take between 4 and 5 hours each way.

Arlington Youth Classic

12/18

A good local opportunity to get some mat time in before the holidays.

Rumble on the Hill

12/18 (Spring Hill, TN)

This tournament outside Nashville provides a look at some other competition outside the Memphis area for some stronger wrestlers.

The Ozark

12/29 (Branson, MO)

Here's an opportunity to take another road trip to Missouri and face some different competition.

Top 100 Chattanooga

1/8 (East Ridge, TN)

The drive is worth it to find good competition from the eastern side of the state that we're likely to see in the state championships later on.

Jon Davis Kids Open

1/15 (Springfield, IL)

This 6+ hr trip is recommended only for seasoned competitors.  They'll see good competition from the Midwest in a weekend where there aren't local options available.

Battle for the Rock

1/22 (Conway, AR)

Just outside Little Rock (2.5 hrs), this isn't a bad drive to get some different competition.  The levels at this tournament should be mixed with some good and average competition.

Little Devils Open

1/23 (Belleville, Ill)

A bit farther of a drive (4+ hrs) will likely give a little higher level of competition during this Sunday tournament.

Top 100 Memphis

1/29 (Collierville, TN)

This tournament should bring good competition locally to Collierville HS.  This tournament isn't typically for beginners, but intermediate and advanced wrestlers should attend.

K-8 Club State Duals

1/29

This is a team event, using a dual format.  One or two wrestlers per weightclass are allowed, and it should bring good competition.  It's held locally at Collierville High School.

AAU Region 4 State Qualifier

2/20

This is the qualifying tournament for the AAU State tournament.  Every wrestler who would like to compete at State must finish in the Top 4 at the Regional tournament to qualify.  It's held at Collierville HS.

AAU State Tournament

3/5 (Lebanon, TN)

Only those who qualified (placed top 4) at regionals can compete in the state tournament this week.
