About Us

We are a youth wrestling club serving athletes from Kindergarten through 8th Grade across the Memphis area. Our mission is to introduce young men to the sport of wrestling and help them reach their full potential on and off the mat.

We provide age-appropriate, high-quality instruction for beginners, intermediate, and advanced wrestlers. We emphasize growth, discipline, and self-confidence.

Each season, 100+ wrestlers of all ages, sizes, and skill levels train and compete with the Wave Wrestling Club.

We offer three practice opportunities per week. We host practices at the Brothers Development Center (BDC) at Christian Brothers High School (5900 Walnut Grove Road). We design our practices to develop technique, increase conditioning, and have fun.

Throughout the regular season (October-March) and off-season (Spring & Summer), we offer athletes opportunities to compete locally and nationwide at tournaments catered to all experience levels.

Our coaching staff has a combined 100+ years of experience developing wrestlers of all ages. Wave Wrestling Club coaches have helped athletes to achieve the highest levels of success in wrestling and life.

The Wave Wrestling Club has produced state placers, state champions, all-Americans, and national champions at the youth, high school, and college levels. Wave Wrestling athletes have gone on to compete in the NCAAs and on senior level U.S. World Teams.
